Mike Mesewicz is the Vice President of Payer Partnerships. In his role, Mike leads the relationships with Shatterproof’s current health plan partners. He is also responsible for expanding health plan partnerships across Shatterproof’s footprint, which is currently live in twelve states with two more to be added in 2023. 

Mike is a health care professional specializing in business development, client management, operations, and behavioral health clinical management. Mike held a wide variety of roles in his 20-plus year career at Optum. These roles allowed him to work with health plans, employers, state partners, brokers, consultants, and other stakeholders serving all lines of business-commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, and Exchange. Mike also worked for OhioHealth, a large regional health system based out of Columbus, Ohio, where he led an employer services business development team. Early in his career, he worked as an Emergency Room Crisis Social Worker. 

Mike received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Economics from Otterbein University and his Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Mike also studied at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. He is licensed as an LISW in the State of Ohio.

Mike resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Pam and enjoys spending time with his growing family. Mike enjoys a variety of activities including traveling, music, as well as a wide range of indoor and outdoor fitness activities.
