Jess Keefe is Shatterproof's Director of Digital Advocacy Strategy. From launching campaigns to crafting messaging to activating Shatterproof's base, she oversees grassroots state and federal advocacy work that raises awareness of the issue and creates meaningful policy change.

Jess has years of experience in both branding and editorial. She’s worked as a writer and copy manager for companies like EF Education First and TJX.  Her articles and essays have been published by The Daily Beast, McSweeney’s, Brooklyn Magazine, MTV, and others. 

Like countless other Americans, Jess has a personal connection to the issue. Her brother Matt died from an overdose in 2015 after years of substance use and mental health issues. She’s committed to educating the public, reducing the stigma, and changing harmful drug policies that hurt so many American families and communities. 

She’s originally from the Boston area and is an unrepentant Red Sox fan. She is a graduate of Fordham University and lives in Brooklyn.
