Angel Marie Gunter

Age 29
Daughter, Sister, mother, Loved Wholeheartedly
Age 29
29

Angel was such a free spirit. She loved helping people and would help/rescue any animal at anytime! She was intelligent, beautiful and had the brightest smile. Her laugh was contagious. She loved family but her children were always most important!

I love the way Angel would leave such a memorable impression. She would have anyone smiling and never met a stranger.
Angel and I went to buy a piece of furniture. She heard a puppy cry. I told her NO immediately! An hour later we were coming home with a pitbull we still have today. Angel and I named her Bella. I know Bella misses her so much. All of my animals knew Angel loved them. She was so selfless and had the biggest heart. Save mom a place in Heaven beside you. I'll see you someday soon

I miss angels smile.
I miss angels voice.
I miss angels laughter.
I miss the way Angel protected you
I miss Angel protecting all animals.
I miss the way Angel giggled.
I miss the way she walked like me.
I miss how Angel would get confused as me.
I miss the way Angel loved her children.
I miss the way Angel loved me, her Mom.
I miss the way Angel loved her siblings.
I miss everything, every single thing about my Angel Marie!
I Miss her more everyday.
Angel was my heart.
Mama loves u

The brightest Star in the sky,
The most beautiful flower in the garden
The most beautiful voice you hear
The softest, most gorgeous face you've ever seen
The person with the biggest heart.
The daughter who would always love her mother
And sister who loved her siblings.
The mother who loved her children endlessly.

Monty Reuling

Age 62
Dad, Brother, Son, Friend
Age 62
62

My dad was a sweet and gentle man. He never meant harm, and always wanted the best for his daughters and his family. He loved sports and movies. He told countless jokes, and laughed the loudest at his own.

Every Christmas, my dad brought magic to our house. We would stay up late with him putting out cookies and coca-cola. He would pull the NORAD Santa tracker up on the computer and we would watch the sleigh go around the world. When Santa would make it to New York City, it was time for bed- he was only a few hours away! We would always wake up to traces of Santa (shoe prints, red threads), half-eaten cookies, and an empty coke bottle. It truly felt like magic, and it was.. he was.

In every way. The small daily conversations about the Rams, or movies, or really anything. He loved holidays and always made them so special. It is sad thinking about all the future ones without him.

For being good and kind. For the legacy he left with his daughters. For loving sports and being an athlete himself. For being the best dad.

Bruce Anthony Ryan Jr.

Age 35
Uncle, Brother, Friend, Son.
Age 35
35

He was the most amazing person. My uncle, my best friend. He could play guitar better than anyone I’ve heard. Could hear a song once and play it beautifully. He was kind, caring, smart, funny, and an amazing person overall.

My favorite memory of Uncle Bruce was sitting in my aunts kitchen one day. He was sitting on a stool next to my mom, my aunt and I watching. He was playing guitar to the Guns n Roses song, Patience. He tried to do the whistle at the beginning but couldn’t, and he was laughing at himself. My mom tried after him, he couldn’t either. So they played Good Riddance by Green Day instead.

The friendship, love, music, and laughter.

Uncle Bruce aka Brucey would like to be remembered as a hard working man who loved his family, friends, life, and music. He would want others to work to keep his happy memories alive.

Eddie Lee Stewart

Age 54
Father, Son, Stubbornly Kind
Age 54
54

He was a kind, but stubborn man. He lived a very hard life, but would hardly ever complain about it to anyone. He was a great hunter, a wonderful listener, and he was always willing to help others even after a hard day’s work.

My favorite memory is when we were all at the beach, and we all were just having fun. And he was out in the water managing to find these large shells all by himself. He was always happy when he was outside.

I will miss his loud booming voice, how they would always try to make someone happy and think of them first. He would do anything to help someone if he was able.

They would want to be remembered as a kind man, a loving man who cared for as many people as he could. He hated to see anyone or anything suffer and would do his best to make sure they would never be hurting.

Jason Matthew Spears

Age 40
Husband, Father, Veteran, Best Friend
Age 40
40

Jason was the best husband, greatest father to our 2 boys, he was my best friend, my soulmate. I knew we'd be together forever. In 2015, my world fell apart when he OD'd on heroin and alcohol. He was 39 yrs old. He was too ashamed to ask for help.

Seeing him become a father and loving every single minute of it. He loved having 2 sons and couldn't wait to do "all the dad things" with them - go camping, fishing, teach them how to ride a bike, throw a football... He loved our boys to pieces and was so proud to be a father.

His laugh. I remember him laughing a lot and he had such a unique and loud belly-laugh. It was truly infectious. Sometimes, we'd get to joking and cracking up, laughing so hard we could barely breathe.

As a "realist." Even though he was only 39, being in the military had given him the chance to see the world. He was humble, cultured, and fascinated by the differences in the world. He loved to read. To learn. He was firm in his beliefs, but open-minded and accepting of others. He had a heart the size of Texas and wanted the world, not just our little corner of it, to be happy and loved. I miss him so much.

Matthew Young

Age 21
Unique, Amazing and Troubled Individual
Age 21
21

Matthew is my first-born son, and one of the most amazing individuals that I had the privilege of knowing. He was loved by so many, and has been missed greatly since his passing.

I cannot come up with just one favorite memory. There were so many! He was with me for 21 years, 7 months & 3 days, and each of those days have beautiful (and some not-so-beautiful) memories. All of the memories are treasures now.

Everything except the substance abuse.

He would want to be remembered as somebody who loved to help people and do whatever he could to make people smile. And that is what he did. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and would do anything he could to help anybody he encountered. He also would do whatever he could to make people smile. He also had a twisted sense of humor that he shared with everybody! And he was not ashamed to say he was a mama's boy, LOL!

Bryan Harrison Morse

Age 33
Beloved Son, Brother, and Friend.
Age 33
33

Bryan had an amazing way of making us laugh and cringe at the same time. His unique sense of humor, and spontaneous off-colored thoughts, that he shared without a filter, were the foundation of his amazingly warm and sincere personality.

There is one memory that exemplifies Bryan both as a person and friend. Bryan had gotten into trouble with the law and spent time in jail. When Bryan was released, unlike the others who he was released with, Bryan still had on prison issued shirt and pants and ill-fitting sneakers, with no laces and holes. When I asked Bryan where his clothes and shoes were, he told me that he had given them away. He said, "There were guys in there with nothing, they needed them way more than me."

We’ll miss his smile, strong jaw line, broad shoulders, and deep emotional warmth that brought him to many peoples’ sides in good times and bad. We will also miss Bryan's love of nature, sense of adventure, outrageous thoughts, which he shared freely, and his love of all things wood. Bryan was a very gifted fine woodworker. He made unique and beautiful boxes, cutting boards, tables, chairs, a bed, a guitar, and countless hand-carved spoons. We will miss Bryan's artistry and craftsmanship.

We will always remember Bryan's ability to make us laugh, his compassion for others, and his knack for acting before engaging his brain. He made friends easily, but he also kept friends. He was the glue that kept people together. He had a hard time helping himself but found it very easy to help others. Our memories of Bryan are filled with love and laughter, and we will continue to honor his memory by telling stories, of which there are many. Bryan we will love and miss you forever!

When we skated just the two of us. He was insanely talented and could make up a trick out of the blue and I would beg him to teach me. He tried but it always ended up with him say "I don't know, I just do it"

His laugh and smile, it was extremely contagious.

Age 30

Cole was so funny, kind, and warm. Made each person he knew feel special. He was complicated, smart, full of anxiety, and suffered from OCD, and ADHD.

His laugh! Deep and rich that made you laugh even harder.

Everything. The good and bad. His smile, laugh, voice, sense of humor, his intensity.

As someone who loved his family and friends. Who made a difference to those who needed it.

Nicole Lyn Grant

Age 37
Compassionate, Loved, Funny, Courageous, Great Mom.
Age 37
37

She was the rock of the family. Very smart and driven. She always had the right words to say when you were lost or confused in life. She loved her kids more than anything in life. She was the one who kept everyone grounded in life.

My favorite memory of my sister Nikki is when we would have our sister dinners and tickle each other's feet.

Having her here to watch her kids and nieces grow up. Missing all her milestones in life and her not being by my side when we got old.

Never forgotten. Never gave up on anything. The most amazing Mom, Sister, Daughter, Aunty, Grandaughter.

Lorne Loucel

Age 43
Loyal, hardworking, lively, thoughtful, supportive
Age 43
43

Lorne was a genuine soul, what you saw is what you got. He was witty, always ready to help and cared so deeply for the ones he loved. Our time together was cut way too short, but I’m so blessed to have had him as my partner in life.

The time he rushed home from work to help relocate a snake that was trying to move in with us, lol. I got it on video!😊

I can’t answer this in 500 words or less. I miss everything about him, truly. The way he looked at me, the love he provided my daughter, his laugh, his checkins with me after challenging days at work, his touch. I miss all of him.

Lorne would like to be remembered as someone who loved his family, both personal and professional. Someone who took the time to listen and not just respond. His presence impacted others in a joyous way.
