Shatterproof Addiction Stigma Index
Addiction stigma is under-researched and largely unaddressed. Shatterproof is changing that.
First fielded in 2021, the Shatterproof Addiction Stigma Index (SASI) is the largest survey of public attitudes about substance use disorder (SUD) and people with SUD in the United States.
It explores the public’s knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs regarding SUD.
As a critical issue impacting our nation, Shatterproof is proud to bring addiction stigma into the light and lead the national charge to transform the way our country treats and talks about addiction.
