Maritza Hiciano serves as Shatterproof’s Customer Support Coordinator. In her role, she provides administrative support to the Chief Marketing Officer and the National Vice President. In addition, Maritza responds to inquiries via the information email box and the 800 line. She handles office operations in New York City, provides technical support for online fundraising, and manages the donor acknowledgement process.
Maritza is an administrative professional with over 10 years of successful work experience in the nonprofit and private sectors. Additional experience includes her time with the Human Resources Administration and the Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit, where she collaborated with elected officials in community outreach and advocated for the housing rights of the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
Maritza completed a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Queens College and received a Masters of Arts in psychology of work and family from the CUNY Graduate Center.
