As our country works to contain the spread of COVID-19 (the coronavirus), I wanted to reach out to the Shatterproof community to say that I’m thinking of each and every one of you. I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe in these uncertain times. 

I also wanted to let you know that while our staff are taking all CDC-recommended precautions, Shatterproof’s daily operations are continuing. With hundreds of Americans dying from overdose and other addiction-related causes every day, we can’t slow down our work toward systemic change. 

While COVID-19 poses a unique threat to the American public, it’s important not to forget about the addiction crisis that is devastating millions across this country, and which shows no sign of slowing down.

American institutions must respond to all urgent health epidemics, including both COVID-19 and addiction. Shatterproof will continue working hard to create solutions for the millions of Americans in need of effective, affordable substance use disorder treatment.
