REPORTING TO: Chief Financial and People Officer
ABOUT SHATTERPROOF AND THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT:
Shatterproof was founded in 2013 to fill the gap for a well-funded, national, coordinated effort to reverse the course of the addiction health crisis, with the singular goal of ending the devastation addiction is causing our families. To achieve this, Shatterproof has identified three priority pillars: revolutionizing the treatment system, breaking down addiction-related stigma, and supporting and empowering our communities.
The Finance Department provides broad-based financial and administrative support across all Shatterproof’s programs to ensure exceptional stewardship of donor funds and progress towards our strategic objectives. Three of the programs that were designed to reach Shatterproof’s mission are ATLAS, Stigma, and Just Five. As these programs continue to scale, government entities have become a critical funder and stakeholder. Thus, Shatterproof is seeking a highly organized and collaborative individual to join the Finance Department as the Government Contracts Coordinator.
The Government Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for cross-departmental management of the full life cycle of government contracts, including, but not limited to facilitating contract negotiations with project leads, liaising with a third-party legal firm to answer internal and external documentation questions, appropriately logging and tracking invoice and reporting requirements, driving project management of contract renewals, collating materials across departments, aligning contract payment schedules with respective state fiscal years, researching state contract requirements, etc. The successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines, and is extremely detail-oriented. Given Shatterproof’s start-up culture, it is critical that the incoming Coordinator possess an entrepreneurial spirit and is a self-starter. The day-to-day of this position will entail review and successful completion of contracts, administrative tasks in Shatterproof’s CRM platform (i.e., Salesforce), and close collaboration with the ATLAS, Stigma, and Just Five teams.
