Dr. Abigail Mercer joins the Shatterproof Treatment Atlas team with several years of experience in operational leadership and community outreach as well as oversight and administration of federal, state and local public health grant-funded initiatives. Dr. Mercer has worked diligently to develop, promote and encourage cross-sector collaboration by building partnerships with community resource agencies, local and statewide associations and coalitions as well as advocacy groups. She is passionate about working with others in a concerted effort toward the achievement of inclusion and equity, especially for the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Her experience spans multiple industries including public health, government, social services and nonprofit, as well as healthcare and education. 

Dr. Mercer recently received her Doctorate of Business Administration with a specialty in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She lives in Franklin, Indiana with her three children, Austin, Amelia and Ivy. She is an avid reader, enjoys gardening and loves outdoor adventures, especially exploring the US National Parks and camping with her family.
