Janet is the Salesforce Administrator for Shatterproof. She ensures that the organization is using the Salesforce database with maximum efficiency to fulfill our mission. She believes in the power of data to positively change lives and is proud to be part of a team that values data-driven solutions.
Janet brings to Shatterproof a wealth of experience in nonprofits and databases. For more than a decade, she focused on individual giving and donor stewardship at several nonprofits, including Lighthouse International and the American Cancer Society. In 2013, her focus shifted to database management when she joined Hope & Heroes at Columbia University Medical Center. In this role, she managed Salesforce and came to appreciate the power of the platform. Since then, Janet has utilized Salesforce to help three nonprofits - Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, StoryCorps, and the Innocence Project - better fulfill their missions. She is committed to continuously improving her knowledge of Salesforce and data management.
Janet resides in New York City with her two cats. In her free time, she loves to kayak, play video and board games, and read science fiction. She has a B.A. in Philosophy from Salisbury University and an M.A. in Philosophy from Baylor University.
