Michelle Mangum

Michelle Mangum is the incoming Director of State Engagement and comes to Shatterproof with a wealth of experience across the public sector. From working with adults and children with disabilities, to seniors and most recently at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) as the Director of Government Relations.  Michelle has demonstrated a commitment to the service of others throughout her career. With a passion for community building, Michelle has established a reputation for building strong relationships in the community and across all levels of government including federal, state and local government. She is continuously working to serve, impact and improve the lives of others.    

Michelle is a proud graduate of Florida A & M University (FAMU) where she earned a BS in sociology and later a MS in Public Service Management from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.  She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the FAMU National Alumnae Association.  Michelle is a board member for The Black History Project and volunteers with several community organizations.
