The National Addiction Memorial honors the loved ones we’ve lost.

Chrys was a kind, caring, loving young man. He loved his son with all his heart, and they were inseparable most of the time doing what they loved doing together, which was cooking. He loved his brothers and cousins and they did a lot together such as parties, cookouts, Grand Caynon in AZ, etc. He had many friends where he was born and raised on Cape Cod, Mass. Chrys was a talented Chef, as a second career. His passion was in Audio for cars and worked in places he loved. His goal was to be with his son and be the best Father he could be. I remember him saying, he loved his Cape Cod, when he was living in AZ he would always go back in the summer to work. His smile I loved, his Hi Mum I miss.

My favorite memory of him is when he fought to gain Full Custody of his Son in court and did it by himself. I remember him telling me, the "Judge said now get on that plane with your son and move to AZ with your parents." He was so proud of himself doing it on his own he was dancing around the court house. Moving with us from Cape Cod, Mass to AZ. He liked gaming with his 3 much older brothers!!

We will miss his Drive in what he wanted to do in life, with his Son. His smile, his loving caring way for those he loved. I miss his everything, such a caring loving Son.

Chrystian would like to be remembered for his funny ways, his love for others, and bringing up his only Son who is a caring loving grandson, and takes after his Dad in a lot of ways. Remembering with love and pride. He loved talking about many issues with others

I don’t have one single memory. Most of my favorite memories revolve around family vacations, or time spent together in younger years.

I will always and forever miss hearing the word “mom”. There won’t be another person ever to utter that word to me. I will miss feeling his hug. I will miss how he always turned his scruffy cheek to me for a kiss before he left the house. I will miss everything about Jonah.

I want Jonah to be remembered not for his struggles over the past few years, but for his bouts of determination to be better. To feel better. To live differently. To be clean. He was so afraid to feel life raw and unfiltered. But what I want to remember is the love that he had for everyone. How he cared so deeply for the ones around him. How he loved to cook. How he loved to shoot. How he loved to print. How he loved to create. And his smile. And his “trouble laugh”.

Joey was the light of my life.

All.

Everything.

Joey struggled hard to get his life back. He said to me more than once, “I want to live, Mom.” He knew I wanted that, too.

He could be incredibly funny, always up for adventure

We had so many good times together. I always had fun with you! Whether it was our love for the beach, body surfing those waves, riding our bikes on the coolest trails, our steak dinners! You loved cuddling with our pups! You always found the coolest places around! Thank you for showing me so much! I'll be reminded of you every day! Everything I've grown to love, you showed me! My life was better with you in it! And I'm so grateful we had all these great times together! I will always love you!!!

You could be so funny! Im going to miss just hanging out with you. Im going to miss your spirit! You were so much more than the addiction you had become. You always wanted to live life to its fullest. Your love of nature was inspiring! Im going to miss exploring trails with you, beaches, cool little breweries, just our environment. You were always up for exploring. Im going to miss our dinners! They meant the world to me! You meant the world to me!

Im going to remember you as a gentle giant, a little boy in a grown man's body! You could be so full of life, excited for everything! Its going to break my heart every time I do something we planned on doing together but didn't get to. If you could've just hung on! I will always love you and I'm going to miss you forever! Until we meet again...

Josh “Gutter” Vivona was a loyal brother, a wild soul, and a ride-or-die road dog who showed up when it mattered. He had a heart bigger than his pain, made everyone feel like family, and left behind a legend that won’t ever fade. Loved by all, forgotten by none.

Josh “Gutter” Vivona had his jaw wired shut when I first met him—he broke it stepping in to stop a man from beating a woman in San Francisco. I found him outside Taco Bell in Santa Cruz with pliers, trying to undo the wires just to eat. That was Gutter—tough, selfless, and real. The last time we spoke, was when I had to kick him out of my house a year to the day before he passed away ,I told him the only way to make it right was to get clean and make me proud. He got clean for a year then he relapsed.That was the last time I heard his voice.

What I miss most about Gutter is that infectious smile and his wild, contagious laugh. No matter how hard the world was on him, he still cared more about everyone else. He was always cracking jokes, bringing light to dark days, and staying a true clown—ride-or-die Juggalo till the very end. He made people feel seen, even when he felt invisible.

When I die, show no pity, send my soul to Juggalo city.
Dig my grave six feet deep, put two matches by my feet.
Put two hatchets on my chest, tell my homies I did my best.

My brother was a great man, he had a heart of gold, would help almost anyone out - even if it was his last dollar. He had his demons but he worked hard and I miss him terribly.

My mom would tell me that she made miracle grow in a container one day. My brother came in the house so thirsty and thought mom had made Kool aid so he picked up the jug and started drinking it. My mom caught him and yelled, but he had drank half of the container! She called poison control and they laughed and said that it wouldn't hurt him, but to let them know if he grew tall. Do you know that he was the tallest of all 7 of us? I loved hearing that story.

The way he would greet me, "Hey, sissy!" His laugh, his joking, my saving grace at points, his ways of collecting things for his kids, I just miss him.

There wasn't a tree that he was afraid to cut, he helped those that everyone else wouldn't (even if everyone said they didn't deserve it), he loved his mom very dearly and he didn't like the family fighting so he wanted his body to go to space if he died and his property either sold to someone who wouldn't let the family buy it or turn it into a cemetery!

Julie Caroline Weintraub, born on November 3, 1974, passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 50 in Oakland, CA. Julie graduated from the California Institute of the Arts, where she honed her skills and passion for art.
She attended Crossroads School during her formative years, which laid the foundation for her creative pursuits. Julie's life was enriched by her family, who survive her: her mother, Jane Weintraub; her brother, Michael Weintraub (Maria); and her sisters, Jamie and Jody Weintraub. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Weintraub.
Julie's artistic spirit and legacy will be remembered by all who knew her.

Timothy Robert Holt lost his hard fought battle with alcoholism on July 2, 2025. Known for his big heart, quick wit, and magnetic energy, Tim lived a life full of generosity, laughter, and devotion to family, especially his beloved wife of 26 years and his three beautiful children. Tim touched countless lives with his kindness and joyful spirit—always the first to lend a hand, share a story, or make someone smile. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

My sister was the life of the party and she was always there for the ones she loved. Mal loved going on road trips to mountains and the beach. She was a big dreamer a lot of goals. Mal was a mother of three young children. We miss her 💔

My favorite memory was going to concerts with my sister and seeing for King and Country in tri-cities with her.

I'll always miss my sisters sense of humor and always knowing she'd have my back.

Mal would want to be remembered for her caring soul. She would want everyone to remember that she'd give her last dollar to anyone who needed it.

My loved one touch so many people's lives in their life which was taken way too soon
He enjoyed the outdoors and instilled that love of the outdoors in his children. His favorite meals brought a twinkle to his eye as he cooked for his loved ones.

My favorite memory includes going camping with him, riding in the tractor, and going on roller coasters together. He was a loyal, fierce protector and stood up for everything he felt was right no matter what.

Everything

Michael was a loving and kind person, always willing to help others, even when he wasn’t feeling well himself. He faced many challenges, struggling with mental health, addiction, and chronic pain, and made many attempts to seek help. Despite his battles, Michael’s selfless nature shone through in everything he did. He is truly missed every day.

We will deeply miss Michael’s smile, the sound of his singing, and watching him dance. His laughter and smile could light up any room, bringing happiness to everyone around him. There’s an emptiness without him here—ultimately, we miss him so much.

Michael would want to be remembered as a good person who always tried his best and made sure everyone knew how much he loved them. He was the kind of person who was always there for others, no matter what. Michael would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back if you needed it. His generosity and caring spirit touched everyone around him, and his love and kindness will never be forgotten.

Jacob will be remembered for his kind heart, his generous spirit, and his ability to light up a room. He was the person who always wanted to help, always ready with a smile or a word of encouragement. His presence brought joy, and his absence will leave a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

James was a man who tried to help you as much as he could. He always tried to do his best. He made everyone laugh and spread positivity & blessings to all.

My Dad and I went on a water roller coaster. My mom said I could get on it only if he got on with me because she definitely wasn’t! So he did and he hollered and screamed & smiled and he was so scared but happy to be there with me.

I will miss his laughter, his smile, his warm hug, him calling me Doogie & watching him enjoy his favorite foods.

James would like people to know that addiction is a disease and that it isn’t the entire story of a person’s life. Support your loved ones and family through love, encouragement and prayer at all times. Give people their flowers while they are alive & always cherish your family no matter what.

Mandi was the youngest of 3. She was an animal lover, her pets included parrots, dogs, cats, ferrets, chinchillas. She was such a giving person. She was instrumental in several of her friends achieving sobriety. She was absolutely beautiful, my best friend.

Her daily phone calls, several times a day. Her laugh. Her beautiful shining eyes. Her unique sense of humor. Everything about her

Her generosity. She would, and has given her last penny to help another. Her love of animals. Her kindness. Her strength, having achieved 7 years of sobriety. Incredible woman.

Your smile could light up a room. You loved learning, no matter what the subject. You loved hiking and camping. You loved music and being a father. You would always go to bed upset but wake up happy, such resilience. You could talk for hours.

Camping on the mountain or at the campgrounds. Camping was one of your favorite things.

Lissa was a great MoM. She adored her daughter and her a daughter adores her. She also loved her family her animals and everyone around her. She also was a great neighbor for other people's children.
