Virtual News Conference Thursday, May 11th to Launch New SUD Resources 

Announcement: California to Launch New Lifesaving Resources and Tools for Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery

 
SACRAMENTO – On May 11, 2023, the California Health & Human Services Agency and Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will host a virtual news conference to launch new resources to help combat the opioid crisis in California.

Shatterproof Treatment Atlas is a free, confidential online resource to find trustworthy, high-quality substance use disorder treatment options available in California. Unshame CA is a statewide campaign to reduce addiction stigma by shining a light on the thousands of individuals who are impacted by substance use disorders. Together, these valuable resources will help California communities in need and increase education and awareness to prevent harm in the future.
