Stephen D’Antonio is the Executive Vice President for Shatterproof. His mission is to help businesses and communities educate their constituencies about the disease of addiction and the most effective, evidence-based treatment practices available today. By partnering with large organizations to develop and implement effective models of change, we can increase awareness and prevention, reduce stigma, and provide a viable path for those currently suffering from addiction towards life-changing treatment and support.
Stephen is a 2018 Advanced Leadership Fellow from Harvard University, where he learned the latest science on addiction through course work in neuroscience, psychology, psychopharmacology, and public health. He helped develop the podcast series “My Child is an Addict,” which educates and supports parents dealing with a child suffering from substance use disorder. Stephen has been trained in Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), the most effective approach for family members to get loved ones into treatment.
Previously, Stephen had a 30-year career at Morgan Stanley, where he built, restructured, and managed a variety of businesses. He held numerous senior leadership roles in Fixed Income including Chief Operating Officer, Global Head of Securitized Products, National Sales Manager, and Global Head of E-Commerce. He was a member of the Firm Management Committee. Currently, Stephen is a Board Member for Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A.
Stephen received an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.
