Tina Johann is the Chief Development Officer at Shatterproof. She leads fundraising efforts by creating and implementing strategies to ensure the growth and sustainability of Shatterproof’s programs and advocacy efforts to reduce the devastation addiction causes families. This is achieved by building a nimble, cutting-edge, and highly productive development operation with diverse and dependable funding sources, activated through the power of philanthropy.
Tina has spent her entire professional life – more than 30 years – in the nonprofit arena. Prior to joining Shatterproof, Tina led medical specialty major gifts fundraising for the Foundation at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and oversaw planned giving, foundation and corporate giving, cause marketing, special events and donor relations at the Hospital. She was also responsible for supervising operations, human resources, and advancement/data services departments within the Foundation.
She has held lead development positions at the Autry National Center, Children’s Bureau of Southern California, Junior Blind of America, the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tina was named Professional Fund Raiser of the Year by the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Tina received her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She resides in Valencia, California.
