He had a great sense of humor. Always putting a smile on everyone's face. Loved to joke around. Always willing to help out wherever he could. One of the best people I could have ever met
Fondest memories of Derek
He surprised me with booking a vacation for us. Went to Georgia and I was blindfolded when we got close. I have always wanted to stay in a tree house. Well we did. It was so amazing and I don't think anyone could top what that meant to me and us both. Such a great experience
How Derek will be missed
Miss the way they could make people laugh, smile and just being them. Just having long conversations with them while I'm on the road. Hearing about their day and the volunteer work that he was doing.
