What Joseph was like

My brother, Joe, was a very smart, handsome, and funny man. He loved his family, and was especially loved by his nieces and nephew. I learned that he helped many addicts in their recovery along the way, and was admired by many for his wisdom and wit.

How Joseph will be missed

I miss his sense of humor and the way he was with my children. I am terrified I will forget the sound of his voice and the feel of his hug.

How Joseph will be remembered

I don't think he would like to be remembered in a sappy way. He wasn't a mushy person. I think he would like people to understand the effects of addiction, and that he tried to impact those he met in a positive way and help people through their struggles whenever he could.

Naloxone saves lives. But that access is at risk.

Federal cuts could limit access to naloxone and addiction support. This Mental Health Awareness Month, your gift will be matched up to $15K to help protect progress.
