Alana was smart, funny, talented, athletic, warm, kind, and beautiful. She struggled with anxiety from her childhood and depression joined her team of challenges not long after. She started self-medicating as a young teen, and in spite of her dreams, best intentions, and hard work, addiction became an enemy she could not defeat. She lost her battle at 18, in spite of her efforts and the love and support of family and friends. Missed every moment, her memory is always with us.
