What Benjamin (Ben) was like
Ben was awesome. He loved spending time with his family. So smart and funny. He was also an avid baseball player & excelled at every sport. He had a hard time after the loss of his brother and ultimately just wanted to feel relief from his grief.
Fondest memories of Benjamin (Ben)
My favorite memory is when he would come in the store I worked at and just talk, like a real person. He’d have us cracken up! Also, he knew I was in recovery and made sure to tell me frequently how awesome it was that I’m sticking with it.
How Benjamin (Ben) will be missed
I’ll miss seeing how much he cared about his dad and just the niche things that made him who he was, like talking about South Park or treating baseball cards like they were gold. I’ll also miss having intellectual conversations about God and spirituality with him. He was just one of those people that are so smart they keep getting in their own way. I wish he could have stayed long enough to build the life he deserved.
How Benjamin (Ben) will be remembered
He was fighting for a better life and tried so hard to have a successful recovery. He immersed himself into the church and was spreading the gospel any and every way he could. My heart goes out to his father who now has lost both of his sons.
