Drew Tyson Loyd
What Drew was like
Drew was a really sweet guy, he was usually pretty quiet, but when he wasn’t he was always kind and quick witted. He was so talented and creative. He was one of those people that were gifted with an eye for art, in music, photography, etc.
Fondest memories of Drew
I use to serve tables alongside Drew and he was one of the most gentle people I ever met. He was always eager to help in anyway he could and had so much depth and eclectic knowledge of music. You could just tell he found beauty in even the darkest parts of life.
How Drew will be missed
He was full of surprises and was a soul the world was lucky to have for the short time we did. Reading this quote from his obituary makes me imagine him as a child, though a version of him I never knew, I can attest to this carrying in to his adulthood- “Drew was best friends with my daughter, Haley, in elementary. He was such a sweet and fine young man. Prayers going up for family and friends. May you rest in peace Drew” - K. Crawford
How Drew will be remembered
Drew kept to himself a lot and gave this aura of a dark mysterious person but when you saw him smile or heard him speak it was quickly revealed just how much of a light he carried and how he fearlessly wore his heart on his sleeve. Others also shared- “Drew was always a very funny and insightful person. I enjoyed knowing him and am grateful he was a part of my life and the lives of others” - D. Williams
