Travis Wagenfuehr
What Travis was like
Travis was exceptional – intelligent, witty, loved his family and animals. He had the best smile and the brightest mind. He is loved and missed more than words can ever convey.
Travis was handsome, brilliant, and funny with beautiful eyes and a great smile.
Fondest memories of Travis
One of my favorite memories of Travis is his impersonation of Gallagher smashing watermelons. He had his audience in stitches. He was about 12 at the time. Another is his never-ending question, “So, what’s your plan?”
He built a whole city in Legos on his bedroom floor one summer, complete with all the usual buildings, police cars, traffic, and an airport. I couldn’t vacuum his room for months. I thought he was so clever!
How Travis will be missed
Everything!
We miss everything about him. He is loved.
How Travis will be remembered
I think Travis would like to be remembered as a man who helped people in recovery. He gave back to that community what he received from them. I know he would like to be remembered for his love of animals, great and small – he rescued a cat and a dog and loved them both until the day he died. And he loved his family… dearly.
Remember him as the loving, caring, wonderful son, brother, and friend he was – ready to help anyone who needed him.
