The National Addiction Memorial honors the loved ones we’ve lost.

Brianna was loving and down to earth. She would always put everyone else first. She would make us laugh out of the blue with something she said. She was smart and tried so hard in her life. She was a trusting person and always forgive easily.

Brianna was a waitress and when she was 16 I told her to show me her waitressing skills. She put a glass of iced tea on the table and I said I need some lemon. Brianna came back to the table and dropped a whole lemon in the glass and we all busted out laughing! That’s just how she was she would be so unexpected in things she did. I loved watching her with her boys and how much she loved them.

I miss her smile and her hugs. I will miss her heart and how much she loved people.

She would want to be remembered by how much she loved her boys and how much she was her mothers daughter.

In Elton John's song Friends, one of the lyrics says, "if your friends are there, then everything's alright." This personifies Brian's heart. He would drop everything he was doing to help family, friends and even strangers. He lived a simple life by choice. He never failed to make people laugh with his sense of humor. He was a wonderful son and I miss him with every breath I take.

The day he heard he was recruited to play Arena Football as a QB. His eyes lit up, his smile, he gave me the biggest bear hug.

I will literally miss everything about Brian.

Carl was a kind person who loved to ride his bike down to the beach with his family. He loved music, art, anime, and basketball

Carl is remembered for making sure he gave everyone a gift of love and jewels for a keepsake. He always has the best smile and a wink to go with it.

Caryn loved life beyond measure and looked at the world around her with wonder, excitement, and purpose. Her friendship was healing and full of wanderlust, challenging me to think beyond the limitations of the world around us.

In December 2018, I designed and developed a handmade card game as a gift to her. I worked on it day and night all weekend, finally finishing the product and gifting it to her just in time for Christmas. Now, it's a personalized card game shared with the world, made with love in her honor. Whenever I work with it or create a new version, I think of her. It's a bittersweet reminder of the life and love she shared with so many.

I miss our weekday walks and talks together the most. Her presence was larger than life. It's so hard to move forward when you have left such a big piece of your everyday happiness behind, but I carry the sound of her laughter, the hope of her smile, and the cosmic rays of her energy throughout the universe.

My Sister was so full of life, cared about her Felix Family especially her siblings and nieces. She trully enjoyed the outdoors. She loved hunting & working around the house doing mens work but she loved being with her siblings the most, always happy

My favorite memory of her was when I had my daughter, she was only 9 @ the time but she was so happy to become an aunty. she sat by my girls bassinette just gazing @ her with a smile so memorable, I remember that moment as if it happened just yesterday.

My sister was a fighter she was able to stop using from time to time but was conquered by her addiction to heroin, always talked about turning her life around and going back to school, because she was only a few months shy of graduating high school. She wanted to be remembered as a loving aunty sister and grand-daughter.

Nicky was a big sweetheart. Funny and loving. Always lifting others up Warm hearted.

My baby girl was a beautiful, strong young woman that stood up for what she believed in. She had the most special bond with her brother. It's was amazing. She had a passion for helping children. She is missed so very much.

Travis was the most loving and giving young men. And his hugs were the best. He was an amazing daddy and loved his baby girls. He loved his wife and he loved his family. He loved to fish!!

Aaron was one of the funniest people I've ever known. He loved doing stand-up comedy at open mic nights, He was an accomplished extreme inline skater who made it to the X-Game Trials when he was a teenager. He had a heart of gold, and he was loved...

Aaron was obsessed with Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh) when he was a kid. He insisted on bouncing everywhere, (instead of walking) and, like Tigger, he never said "goodbye" - until the day he died, he would say "TTFN" (Ta Ta For Now") instead of goodbye. This is the memory that most stands out to me...

What I miss is his smile, his sense of humor, his big warm hugs and kiss on my cheek. Sometimes he would say, "Mom you smell like cookies" because of my vanilla perfume. I miss watching our favorite TV shows together and the way he could discuss any subject for hours. He loved to talk politics, ancient civilizations, UFO theories and he also loved movies, reading and music. He was just so interesting and intelligent. So many of his friends have told me they will never forget him or the long talks they had.

I think Aaron would like to be remembered for his big heart, his empathy for others, his cheering on of the underdogs in life. He had a soft spot for kittens and cats. Also his inline skating skills and his love of doing stand-up comedy. He loved to make people laugh, and if you were feeling down, you only had to spend a short time with him to feel better and be laughing again.

She was our rock star! An up-and-coming tattoo artist and an amazing skateboarder. We miss her so much! Especially her laugh.

Kirstie was my big sister and best friend. She loved to sing and dance and love and be loved. She was a beloved mother to her beautiful girls Sophia Marie and Lyanna Jo Lenea who passed a few months before her mommy. She was a person who loved with her whole self.

When we were kids we had a rough childhood but she would always try to make it better anyway she could for myself and out younger sister. And as we got older she was the one who cooked our dinner and got us up for school. I remember when were 11 and 10 we would play cheetah girls and things like that and she was always the leader. She loved to sing so much. She loved Barbra Streisand, Glee, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fleetwood Mac and all things musical

I'll miss her laugh. And singing at the top of our lungs to all our duets. We had so many great times together from going to the midnight premierels of every Twilight movie to taking our babies to play together. I'll miss over yearly Halloween rituals. It was our favorite holiday. Funnily enough her funeral fell on Halloween. I had everyone wear witch hats because I knew she would love it. I'll miss her beautiful blue eyes that I'll never see again. And her

Eddie was a wonderful musical soul. He was so much more than his addiction. He was a warrior fighting against this disease. So musically talented as a musician and songwriter with the voice of an angel.

When he was little one Christmas Eve after dark he ran out of the back door pointing to the sky yelling “I see him. I see him”

His smile, his sense of humor, his wit, his intellect, watching him perform on stage, my best friend, his love of animals

As a good guy, avoid friend, as an amazing musical talent, as someone who would do anything for anyone, some one good with the elderly

Angie loved playing sports. She had the voice of a angel. She would always root for the underdog and would always try to befriend anyone being bullied. She to go on cruises!! She would love Christmas time and would spend days shaking packages .

Our last dinner hours before she died. Our last hug, our last I love you …. Her last words were I love you too mom see you tomorrow…. For her tomorrow never came

Eric was my husband we had been together for a total of 31 years he was an absolutely beautiful soul and was a wonderful talented musician

Travis would want to be remembered as someone who loved life. He loved his family, and his friends. He liked to spend time with each one of them. He loved his girlfriend, Erin. He like working outside, landscaping, he wanted his own food truck. He had plans and goals. He liked being outdoors, fishing, walking in the woods by the waterfalls, anything that got him outside. Though he had his own struggles, he was always there for whoever needed him. His life was stolen from him, and from everyone who loved him. His heart stopped beating on 2/24/21 at 8:55pm. Fentanyl Poisoning and greed did that. We will always love him and miss him, and we will fight for the changes needed to stop the fentanyl epidemic, and the loss of life due to that. We will never stop fighting.
